Our story
A junction, not a destination — that's the point
Blue Moon Junction sits on Highway 11 South in Washago, right where town gives way to lake country.

We've built the kind of place the road needs: a bar and grill where a contractor's breakfast, a family's Sunday lunch and a cottager's late dinner all fit in the same room. Everything comes out of our own kitchen — patties pressed here, souvlaki marinated here, ribs cooked low and slow. The bar keeps it simple with cold draught, bottles and a short list of things worth drinking.
We're a small team and we know most of our regulars by their order. If it's your first time through, tell us — we'll point you at the thing we're proudest of that day.
“Good food, generous portions, friendly staff — worth pulling off the highway for.”
